Good morning. My name is Vicky Chiri. Phil has disappeared again, but the YouTube Scoop is back! (click here to view this column, past entries, et al.)
Our first video is an interview with Tim and Chad that apparently never surfaced, from the Rob Machado surf contest.
Here is an absolutely exciting adaptation of Learning To Breathe. It doesn't get much more hardcore than this. :p
For any of you who stayed up countless hours last summer with the studio web cam, you'll enjoy this montage of memorable moments.
I'll end this comeback issue of the scoop with a short but up-close-and-personal video of Jon doing what he does best, at the Rock The Boat performance. (note how someone pets the back of his head....)
Hey i want to put the Fuse vote box on my blog so that the 50+ ppl that come can vote...but i am having a hard time formating the code. Does anyone have the code? Thanx
Thanks Vicky for remembering the late great VERY addictive (for some of us) studio web cam. It was so neat watching the making of Oh!Gravity. I remembering my son walking in the den one evening as I was watching it and he asks "This is exciting to you why?" I really had no answer for him, hahaha. But it was still neat.
who ever pets Jon's hair, i would too. lol! hey i would want to touch those golden locks too..JK! in the 3rd video, i love how in one part it looks like Jon's restraining Tim! they just crack me up!!! GREAT UPDATES!!! ~lydia
Thanks for the YouTube update, Vicky. I laughed at all the screams in the audience while Jon was singing. The photo montage was neat, too. I wasn't an avid fan last summer so I missed the webcam craze. (although I kinda caught up by reading the webcam thread on the boards) :)
@Phil. You're leaving again! *Sigh* We'll just have to survive. Have fun & enjoy your last couple weeks in India.
The web cam days. Long days, long nights, the song we all made to the rendition of 'Gone', joking around. Good times. I'll have to clear my schedule again if the web cam came back out for the next album. Thanks Vicky for the post.
I'm not sure how to email info to switchfeed, so here is something interesting. Has anyone heard the North Carolina Clef Hangers (accapella male choir) do their rendition of Dare You To Move? It just makes me happy that they chose to do that song.
Aww...wah...I wasn't a fan yet last summer...i've heard so much from others about the sheer radness of the webcam. Maybe they'll do it again? I had seen the interview, lol. That, erm...impassioned... lip-synching was...interesting....and I am sad to say I would probably touch Jon's hair, too, given the opportunity...then have others laugh hysterically at me b/c my face would be scarlet. oh, well. thanks, vicky! :)
Why, Phil? B/c maybe it's part of the human psyche....that maybe some of that person's "gift" special-ness, talent, etc...will come to us by touching them. People wanted to touch Jesus. and, no I am *not* comparing Jon to Jesus, just the human instincts. We have a need to touch those we admire. It's HUMAN. Sweat is a non-issue, especially when they are as good-looking as Jonathan. ;) Sorry about my babbling...
THAT WAS MY ARM! i remeber, i was the ONLY ONE that night to reach out and stroke Jon's amazing blonde locks. and my username one the SF boards is itouchedjon61107. 6/11/07 was the date of Rock The Boat, and my first time seeing them live. yes, i AM in fact an obsessed fangirl, but i am who i am, ya know?
