i liked the point chad made about leaving when hanging out backstage. i'm sure they have been in that position many times, and it's cool to see how they respond to that. this is a great video. thanks cassie.

Drew seems very passionate about the subject. We always seem him goofing off so it was really nice to see some depth in this clip. Great advice, great perspective!! Thanks for sharing, Cassie!

I love switchfoot because they are a christian-rock group. They did this event this summer called Creation Fest '07. It was Kick ass! Talk to you guys later!

Man, I love these guys! Such good stuff in this video. I love what Jon had to say about it not being about saying no to drugs, it's about saying yes to the alternatives which are so much better. I like how all of them put that perspective on it. And Drew cracks me up..."no one who's been on drugs says 'It's been great!'."

wow, that's so cool. i love what they have to say about that. i hope the dvd is shown at my school. they are such an inspiration with the way they live their lives. i think it's great what chad said about how if other bands offered them drugs, they said no.

hey this is awesome, sounds like a really good message that lots of people should be hearing! i especially liked it how Jon said that it wasnt about saying no to drugs and yes to the alternatives, because allot of the addicts dont know that there are alternatives out there...... thanks cassie! keep up the good work guys

i'm gonna write that down somewhere. people don't necessarily talk about it much but chad can be just as deep as jon...

on another note, i wonder if this was recorded back a few months ago when tim had to miss a few shows??

BRILLIANT! I hope this becomes required viewing in every jr. high and high school -- everywhere. I know I want to show it to my group of "Life Hurts, God Heals" kids. (A group for kids similar to a 12-step group. So that kids who have problems (their parents are getting divorced/they are drinking/using drugs/cutting/depressed/violence in the home) will choose Christ not other hurtful ways that don't work.

AMAZING! As a drug addict in recovery for 19 years, I am so grateful to Switchfoot for coming out with this.

Jon is SO right! I am where I am today because of choices and decisions I made when I was 16 years old....I does delay reality. Which is sad because reality is a good thing!

Think kids will see "a different cool" by Chad's story about backstage and choosing to say "No."

I can't imagine that there is some "hidden meaning" why tim isn't in the video. I agree -- It probably was recorded when he wasn't there.

Things like this why you are my favorite band. Well, that and the songs are brilliant, too.
