They are far braver than I. I think that its cool that they did something like that tho. They sure made the crowd go wild (not that they don't do that anyway).

My mom always told me to try something once, when it came to eating new and strange foods. Though I'm not sure I would try this. It really grosses me out!!!

OMG! That's so cool! I've tried 'balut' but didn't eat the embryo (it has 'parts'), but that 'penoy' is tasty (what Chad had).

I got to watch that episode on Fear Factor. Wow, they could've won! :D I remember the contestants were quite grossed out.

Really daring move. Aren't they awesome for trying exotic things?! I wonder if they tried vegemite in Oz. :D

 

I'm definitely more like Drew with the towel over his mouth! I'm not brave when it comes to eating delicacies.

I'm American, lived in the Philippines for 4 years, I love balut. Sorry guys, that juice on top is like the BEST chicken soup you'll ever eat in your life. Nothin' quite like it!! <><

 

There's a reason why balut is sold at night here in the Philippines, and why you're supposed to eat it in the dark. :P Just eat it in one bite and do not think of what you are eating. ;)

 

yeah I think the only way you could get me to eat that is if I was up on stage in front of thousands of people expecting me to.

but then again I might not, since it could come back up later on during the show...

You guys were such great sports! And you rocked on stage. You're all an inspiration to me... not just because you had the guts to eat balut (which I myself have never attempted!) but more so because your music helped me get through some of the toughest times in my life. ;)
