"Rebuild" lyrics
Straight from the horse's mouth...

Subject: Rebuild lyric...

Rebuild.
Watching the world with my highway eyes
watching the world from the windows that I've known
these mobile homes

Loneliness was a friend of mine
But with you that's through and I feel home
away from home
away from home
away from home

oh we're the regeneration
oh with time to kill
oh we're the regeneration
oh rebuild, rebuild

you lit a fire in the pouring rain
but there's so many noisy voices
oh! I get so cold.

the city lights and the midnight train
I hate to say it but I get caught letting go
of the things I know

do not conform to this
do not conform

oh we're the regeneration
oh with time to kill
oh we're the regeneration
oh rebuild, rebuild

every life comes with a broken heart
dying here to be made whole
we are the lost souls with a second start
following the builder home
there's a temple I've found in the strangest part
where the stones are built of souls
where the builder himself has promised, "love,
I'm never going to let you go. Go!"

oh we're the regeneration
oh with time to kill
oh we're the regeneration
oh rebuild, rebuild

Rebuild.

I am absolutely in love with the line "where the stones are built of souls," because I love 4:12 and that is such an amazing, like, self-reference, don't you think?

Thanks for those lyrics! I just saw Switchfoot last night in concert in Green Bay - the best concert I've ever been to! Amazing job guys!

The best part would have to be when Jon left the stage and went through the crowd...right past me to be specific :)

Thanks again for an amazing experience!

Jealousy is right. And what's the deal about not coming to FL? I was kind of sad about the tour not coming to Florida but now I'm just waiting for the next tour to come my way. Switchfoot's my favorite band btw and Ruth and Relient K are awesome too!

It think Rebuild is an amazing song, I like how all three bands from the Appetite For Construction tour play in it. Unfortunately Matt from Relient K was sick when I saw them in Cincinatti, so it was just Switchfoot and Ruth. Yet still it was a great show!

Keep up the good work guys! :)
