Here's a video of Switchfoot's May 13th performance on the Tonight Show, complete with the Narnian background:
or you can head over to nbc.com and click on the May 13th episode to see the full show from that night. Let us know what you think of how the guys did!
P.S. Make sure you go check out all the new Daily Foots (or...Daily Feet?) from Mr. Barron.
I thought this was one of the best live "This Is Home" performances yet. Leno says something about the beginning of the "Habitat for Humanity tour" but isn't the upcoming tour called the Music Builds Tour?
this was a wonderful performance. the guys did awesome, as usual. i really enjoyed it. it was so exciting seeing my favorite band perform on such a popular show.
"this is home" has been touching many lives, i believe.
That's pretty awesome that my video made their first page! I think it would be pretty awesome if the band went over and posted a comment on the video page personally, but it's still great all the same.
Jon's looking kind of Robert Plant-ish; makes me want to see them do a Led Zeppelin cover. But I'm not realy digging this song, I want something heavier and faster paced.
^robert plant?? not sure i'd say that. for jon to look like plant, you gotta take his guitar away, give him a razor for that beard, some curls, and tighter pants.
sweet! thats my neew favorite song! i think jon looked better when they did beautiful letdown and nothing is sound. he looked awesome. he still looks awesome, but not as awesome :-D by the way...switchfoot should come and perform at my church's christmas outreach program! lol!
Great job guys!!! I didn't like the song at first but I'm starting to like it the more I hear it. Yeah, sorry Jon but it's time for a major trim. Some length is fine but you have exceeded that limit:)
Great performance guys... thanks for giving us such great music! And hey Jon... you know you are my favorite, but why don't you swing by Utah and we'll give you a hair cut ;-) I wouldn't mind if the "Beautiful Letdown" style came back!
well, i'd like this song and this band no matter what length their hair was. their music and the messages they send are what we should all be talking more about.
but great job, guys! i love the new song. keep up the good work!
