I think the reason why most commenters didn't appreciate the vocals is, it's supposed to be unintelligible...? if we were to compare it with the shoegazing in the 80's, pre-Brit pop, that is. :D

Glad to have you back Arpit! This song reminded me of one of the Beatles' Christmas songs (the melody and vocals anyways). I guess I like it, but like the others said, it will have to grow on me. Thanks for posting!

@ Nat - what I really like about the vocals is that they remind me of the Beatles a little bit. And I'm seriously tired of the "let's power through the whole song" approach

@ Mukta - yeah, you'd be surprised - I used to have 12 or so, but then Rhapsody came along, and it just changed my entire perspective on genres!

@ Susy - give it a shot - it might grow on ya, it might not!

I have to agree with Faye and Nat. The music was great and the lyrics too, but the vocals I didn't like that much.
But maybe it's the kind of song that grows on you. I'll definitely give it another try.

Yeah on first listening it doesn't grab me, although like faye, I liked the instrumentation but the vocals weren't "my cup of tea". It's okay though, I'll listen to it a few more times probably.

First of all, I'll say, "Welcome back, Arpit!" Next time you take an extended holiday from sfeed, you need to get permission. I thought you fell off the face of the earth. :P

Second, the musical choice was interesting. I REALLY enjoyed the instrumentation. I didn't care too much for the vocals, though. Anyway, my opinion doesn't really matter 'cause my musical taste is quite limited.

So overall, I'd give you 8/10 for your first week back on the job. :)
